As we developed and redesigned the website, it came to our attention that we needed to archive and digitize our history of photographs. The 2-year project will include the following:
- Inventory list of all photographs (framed and unframed)
- The unframed and loose photographs will be boxed up and stored in a fireproof, low humidity, and low-temperature facility until we can archive and frame the pieces.
- Over the two years, we will begin to digitize and upload them to the website. They will reside under Historical Photos.
I will be working with not only what we have at the Lodge but the State of Wisconsin Historical Society and their extensive library of photographs that some of us have never seen. I think it is essential that we preserve these items for ourselves and the future Brothers that will be part of the Lodge long after we are gone.
